The clock ticks way 
Past midnight
All's quiet now, just the
Silent hush of the night

Flipped off my tv,
The screen stares 
Back at me
Black and cold
Sleep won't come,
My mind's on overload

I stare out the window,
The stars 
They wink so bright
Overhere a friendly veil,
Overthere they witness 
Another endless fight

Where flames lick the sky
Where people starve in shadows
Where demons cunningly lie

Where wars rage on,
Where blood soaks the ground,
I question the moon 🌙

Left and right forces clash
Like thunder and storm
Extremes keep circling
Down in every vicious form

Ends meet up in madness
A mad destructive ring
They all eat up eachother
A crazy cannibalistic thing
And the narcissist on his throne
Spits out another bone
